Refresh Org Cache Manually

If you think that your Metadata cache is not refreshing correctly or it might be corrupted and needs to be refreshed manually.  Follow the steps below:

  • Navigate to your Provar project folder
  • You will see a .metadata folder there
  • Drill into the following Folder .metadata\.plugins\com.provar.eclipse.ui
  • Delete all files and folders in that folder
  • Double check that the folder names reflect the name of your Connections in Provar
  • Then restart Provar and allow the caching process to complete as well as wait for the test case validations to complete

 

NOTE: If you are using a Mac and can’t see the .metadata folder and files, please refer this help page to show these hidden folders and files.
