Read/Assert Record Type Names and Descriptions

To Read/Assert the Record Type Description, navigate to the ‘Select a record type’ screen on your preferred object and go to map the Name of the Record Type whose Description you want to Read/Assert.

To Read/Assert the Description, refer to the Interaction Type section of the draft Test Step.

This information can then be accessed in Provar Desktop and by other Test Steps:
To Read/Assert the Record Type Name or Description in Classic, navigate to the ‘Select Record Type’ screen on your preferred object and go to map the Name/Description of the Record Type whose Description you want to Read/Assert.
You can also perform a Read/Assert on the Name of the current selected Record Type:
Once the Test Step has been added, it can be run equally in Classic or Lightning.
